[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Once in a while, we would pamper ourselves with a romantic dinner, just to remind ourselves that we still have each other and that whatever happens we will always support each other. Sometimes it is great to have some space, be away from everyone and everything and just gaze into each other’s eyes, talking about anything and everything without having anyone around. Kisik Bar & Grill’s Pesta Lobster Romantic Private Dinner at Ayana Resort and Spa managed to let us do just that.
So… Kiosk Bar & Grill is already a restaurant that is oceanfront dining. It is already a romantic location where you get to feast on 5-star seafood dishes. At sunset, that is the place you want to be. Pesta Lobster takes up up a few notches to make it far more romantic and far more personal.
Initially, we wanted to take have a pre-dinner drink at Ayana’s Rock Bar as we have been been there during sunset. Finally got to do it once. We had priority entry and had a table waiting for us as we went down the cliff to the bar. Magical! Had a couple of drinks there with our very attentive wait staff who made sure that we didn’t miss out on the sunset at the jetty too… When the time came for us to make our way to the private jetty, a butler came to pick us up and escorted us from the Rock Bar to the jetty. He was our personal butler for the night. As we went over to the jetty, we had to walk through Kisik Grill & Bar, and also had a chance to meet our main course too – the lobsters! They were huge and fiesty!
Located at the end of Ayana Resort and Spa’s private jetty, we didn’t really know what was waiting for us as we made our way down the 30m jetty stretched into the waters off the shoreline. Every step of the way, we knew we would be getting something special. As we reach the end of the jetty, we were met with our own musicians who played throughout the night (with a few breaks). It was so soothing.
Peta Lobster’s webpage couldn’t have said it better: Soft music from bamboo xylophones accompanies the sound of the ocean as the beautifully presented 4-course dinner including three delectable lobster dishes and the most marvellous dessert imaginable is served for your pleasure.
Throughout the meal, we played around with the music instruments and also took lots of pictures. You can do whatever you wanted on that jetty… you paid lots for privacy, so make use of it! Of course we didn’t go crazy and started jumping off the end of it! By the end of the night, we planned to head back to Rock Bar for more drinks, but we decided against it as we figured that we have the whole jetty to ourselves and why do we want to go to the bar and crowd around with other people? We stayed and enjoyed each other’s company. It was one of the best romantic dinner experiences we have had.
