[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When I was living in Sydney, Australia, I would visit Criniti’s Italian Restaurant in Church Street, Parramatta. It was THE place to get good Italian food, especially when you are there with a large group of people.

When you get a banquet meal, you get heaps of pasta and also large-sized wood-fired pizzas that will make you smile when you see them! Since moving down to Melbourne, Australia, I realised that there was a branch in Lygon Street, Carlton, and now a new one opened recently in Southbank, just across the Yarra River from Melbourne City CBD.

Last night, we had a nice meal. We wanted a quick and simple meal just before we headed back home. Here are some of the things we had. Just reviewing the pictures makes me feel like we had more than just a ‘simple meal’ like we wanted. Hahaha.

Tropical Smoothie
Tropical Smoothie. There is pineapple, mango, vanilla yoghurt, passionfruit amongst another one or two more ingredients in it. It went in under a minute!
Halloumi Stack
Halloumi Stack. It was layered with capsicum/red peppers, egg plant and something else, and sitting on a small bed of olive puree.
Mexicano pizza
Mexicano pizza. It packed a bit of a spicy kick!
Linguine Frank Sinatra with Garlic Oil
Linguine Frank Sinatra with Garlic Oil. What a decent portion! It was filling! The chilli (optional) gave it a bit more of a kick to it, and it was superb!
Raspberry Jam Doughnuts
Raspberry Jam Doughnuts. One of the better ones that we have had.
Tiramisu. This was to die for! It was nice and light. Extremely tasty and moist.
Long serving board of pizzas
Long serving board of pizzas at another table. Just look at how long that is! CRAZY!! Great for banquets!
