One of the main thing I wanted to do in Bali was to fly my DJI Phantom 4 over the padi fields. We booked in a day tour and one of the criteria was to be sent to a padi field to do some flying around. Well, we did just that, at the private property of Secret Garden Village Bedugul, Bali.
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We wanted to go to La Lucciola which just next door to Alila Seminyak but decided not to when we got there (through a run-down carpark). We looked at the menu and decided that we would rather go back to the hotel and have lunch there. So we did!
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bambu Restaurant is just next to Alila Seminyak, where we are staying in this trip. All we had to do was to take the buggy out to the main road and walk around 20 steps and we were there! Great location!! I made a booking for this restaurant before we arrived and there was no website to be found. So in order to make a reservation, we had to make a phone call. It was a little troublesome, but it was worth the effort!
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We were really looking forward to this restaurant. The food was good, but the prices were ridiculous for what we got. We thought it was a printing error, but we did pay a lot for our lunch. Not going back there again!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sarong is one of the restaurants to go to. The food is tasty and the staff is excellent and attentive! When we arrived, the maître d’hôtel escorted us through sections of dining areas with beautiful plush sofas and dangling chandeliers till we reached the back outdoor section. We chose outdoor seating as it was night and they had huge fans to blow cool air around.
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We did a day tour today. It was the only tour that we are doing for the entire trip here in Bali. The main aim for this trip was to rest and relax… basically it is a do-nothing-much trip. I wanted to fly my drone here in Bali though, hence arranging for a private day tour to take us around and to places where I can fly my DJI Phantom 4.
