We were heading off to an event in Fitzroy on 24 February 2017 and Googled ‘Japanese restaurants Fitzroy’ and found Ichi Ni Nana Izakaya. We looked online and felt the menu was good enough that we could pick out a good number for dinner. So we went.
Overall, we felt that the food was a little overpriced. The service was really good. The presentation of the sashimi platter was fantastic! I don’t know if we will return, as we felt it will be boring if we go back again. Let’s put it this way – there are plenty of places to go that would be more exciting.
We give this place 7.5 out of 10.
