ABC interested in "king of the hill"

short writes:

last week Fox canceled "king of the hill" after its 14 year run on the network. the network decided that it was simply too expensive to keep making.

well, at the news of the cancellation, ABC has expressed interest in keeping the show alive on its network. ABC wants to use the established show to help with its freshman animated program, "the goode family." they probably want to use "king" as a lead in for their show.

there has been no decision yet as to whether or not ABC will get the show as Fox is also looking at Comedy Central, FX and the Cartoon Network as possible fits.

i never watched the show, but i guess it has a decent following. if there is one thing that Fox knows, it's animation. they are still the only non-cable network to be successful in the animated arena. so if they are canceling "king" it's probably for good reason, especially if they can still make money off the show by selling it to another network.

GO CANES!!!
