in a press release issued today, "The Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com), the authoritative source of information on movies, TV and celebrities, and a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), today announced that users can now watch over 6,000 full-length feature films and TV episodes for free on IMDb.com." (press release)

the video streaming service is run by hulu, which is the joint venture between Fox and NBC. there aren't many new titles listed yet, but i am sure that that will change soon enough. either way it's a great step in the right direction.
